Three killed as car crashes into divider on Agra e-way

Two women and a man were killed when their car ran into a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj district on Thursday morning.

KANPUR: Two women and a man were killed when their car ran into a divider on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj district on Thursday morning.
The accident occured around 6.30 am on Thursday near Phaguha Bhatta when the three of them were returning to Lucknow from Gurugram in Haryana in a car.
"The car driver apparently lost control and the vehicle crashed into a divider near 194 km milestone in the Phaguha Bhatta area on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj," police told TOI.

Some passersby alerted the cops at dial 112 police vehicle. The police, with the help of UPEIDA personnel, pulled out the bodies of the deceased from the mangled car. Two among the deceased were identified as Harish Chandra Pandit of Gurugram and Farah Khan, daughter of Pappu Khan of Vikasnagar, Lucknow.
