BOYS BASKETBALL

After three quarters of close play, Marcus Montagnino helped Gloucester (8-3) pull away in the fourth and finished with 19 points and 15 rebounds in a 63-45 Northeastern Conference win over Winthrop.

As Tim Landolfi led four different double-digit scorers with 15 points, Duxbury used a massive fourth-quarter effort to rally past Silver Lake, 61-52, in the Patriot League.

Cody Cannalonga scored 19 points as North Reading defeated Masconomet, 77-60, in the Cape Ann League.

Sam Peixoto had 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots as Somerville (4-5) captured the Tufts Classic with a 65-47 win over Medford.

Aryah Purandare shot a scorching 12-of-15 from the field for 24 points, leading Westford Academy (9-3) to an 80-70 win over Chelmsford in nonleague action. … Matt Dooley and Keith Hylton each buried 16 points to guide Lincoln-Sudbury past Lexington, 64-55.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Shakirah Ketant had 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Katelyn Mollica tallied a team-high 18 points to lead Foxboro (9-1) to a 61-49 nonleague win over Bishop Feehan.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Maggie Milne had three goals and an assist, while Emily Moran recorded the shutout as Arlington Catholic (8-6) blanked Bishop Fenwick, 4-0, in the Catholic Central League.

Caroline Hartnett, Lauren White, and Kelsey Stewart all scored as Notre Dame defeated King Philip, 3-1, in a nonleague contest.

GYMNASTICS

Emma Quirk (36.55) and Sarah Aylwin (35.45) helped guide Masconomet past Salem, 144.1-84.65.
