Alia Bhatt rubbishes news of getting injured on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ sets; reveals the real reason

Yesterday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture which showed that Alia has hurt her back and hence she decided to rest at home. Since then reports started doing the rounds that the actress has got injured on the sets of her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. However, today the 'Raazi' star took to her photo-sharing app and cleared the air about her injury.
Alia took to her Insta stories and penned a note which read, "To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt my self on the sets of my film..they are NOT true.This is an old injury that has been acting up for a while and just gave away one day at HOME.. no accident or nothing... pls pls do clarify next time before printing long long articles on what happened to me .. Having said that thanks to a few days of complete rest and being horizontal. I'm back in action and am resuming shoot from today! Thank you for all the get well soon messages :) as i have got well very very soon :)"

Meanwhile, Alia has several films lined up ahead and is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. A couple of days ago the makers have dropped in the first posters of Alia's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' look which took the internet by storm.
Apart from that the actress will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial, 'Brahmastra'. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna along with Ranbir.
