Cinemas have more in mind than just romance for the month of Valentine's Day.

New superhero outing Birds of Prey sees Margot Robbie reprise her now iconic role as Harley Quinn in an all-female crime-fighting outing from DC Comics.

Elsewhere, Oscar-nominee Parasite sees director Bong Joon-ho helm a darkly funny thriller about a poor family who schemes their way into the home of a rich clan but finds twisted secrets within.

It's also a month for horror as Kristen Stewart stars in a gripping tale of survival beneath the ocean's surface in Underwater, while Elisabeth Moss is in danger in a new take on The Invisible Man.

Finally, there is still some love in the air as Autumn de Wilde directs a new adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma, just in time for Valentine's.

But what else lies in store for February 2020 and when are the films released in the cinema?
