Migrant group camps at Guatemala-Mexico border in bid to reach US

Hundreds of Central Americans are camped on Guatemala border as they prepare to enter Mexico in a group on Monday.

Thousands of people from Honduras have left their homes in the last few days, hoping to reach the United States.

Some have reached the Guatemala town of Tecun Uman, which is just on the border with Mexico.

But many are unaware that the US has already put in place plans to send them back to Guatemala in planes should they manage to head north.

Al Jazeera’s John Holman reports from Tecun Uman, Guatemala.
