He was the guy who infamously broke Amber Gill's heart on Love Island and now Michael Griffiths has found love with another Geordie girl who Amber knows.
No Love Island fan will ever forget the moment last year that Amber walked back into the main villa from Casa Amor, sure that Michael would have remained loyal to her only to see him holding hands with new girl Joanna.
His actions sparked fury on the show and back at home where millions of viewers were absolutely fuming with him for doing the dirty on the Gateshead lass.
Amber had the last laugh though by going onto win Love Island and bag half of the £50,000 prize and, while Amber hasn't really been on TV since last summer, Michael is back on screen on Celebrity Ex on The Beach on MTV.
And it is on the show that he has met new girlfriend Ellie Brown, who appeared on Love Island in 2017 and is well known to Amber from the Newcastle nightlife scene.
Speaking about Ellie in an interview with The Sun, Michael said "Ellie and I did form a good bond on the show. The relationship we built was unbelievable.
"To have someone as amazing as her in my life means so much. I’m head over heels and I’m not letting her go.
"She is such a beautiful genuine girl who I think is amazing,’ he said: ‘I can’t fault anything about her. We just clicked. I didn’t feel like she wanted anything from me it was just natural."
Ellie emerged from the sea on the first episode of Celebrity Ex on The Beach on Tuesday to greet ex Joey Essex, with her having a brief romance with the TOWIE favourite after she left Love Island two years ago.
