DELHI: With many terming the Delhi assembly elections a straight fight between the ruling AAP and the BJP, Kapil Mishra, the saffron party candidate from Model Town constituency, has likened it with a contest between India and Pakistan.
"8 February ko Delhi ki sadkon par Hindustan aur Pakistan ka muqabala hoga (There will be a contest between India and Pakistan on the roads of Delhi on February 8)," the rebel AAP leader tweeted.



Delhi, which has 70 seats, is slated to go to polls on February 8. The counting of votes will take place on February 11.

Noteworthy, the Aam Aadmi Party had on Wednesday wrote to the Election Commission alleging "wrongful acceptance of nomination forms of BJP candidate Kapil Mishra from Model Town constituency" and demanded cancellation of his candidature.
