BREAKING NEWS – Sanco presents demands to Polokwane Municipality

Office bearers of the South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) in Limpopo handed a memorandum of demands to Polokwane Executive Mayor Thembi Nkadimeng at the Civic Centre in the city just after noon today (Friday) demanding intervention regarding a number of issues.
The issues raised included the alleged irregular appointment of 141 general workers, failure to appointment eight other general workers in compliance with a Labour Court order, inadequate water supply to townships and suburbs and awarding of tenders to allies and friends.
Nkadimeng accepted the memorandum and said it would receive the necessary attention.
