A man's body was found in a creek on Latham Road outside of Shady Point, not far from the church on Latham Road, according to Sgt. Terry Winn and Leflore County Sheriff Donnie Edwards. Sgt. Winn said OSBI is handling the investigation and says the identity of the body is unknown as of Saturday, January 25th. He said investigators aren’t ruling anything out in the ongoing death investigation.
