Secunderabad: RTI reveals DPS branch is not CBSE-affiliated

HYDERABAD: An RTI response from the Deputy Educational Office, Marredpally zone revealed that Delhi Public School, Mahendra Hills has not been affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
“Delhi Public School, Mahendra Hills is recognised by the state government of Telangana from classes Nursery to VIII E/M and is not affiliated by CBSE Board,” read the RTI response given to Vijay Gopal, an activist.
It has been alleged that the school is cheating its students and parents by falsely claiming that it is CBSE affiliated.
