Telangana: Four suspected cases of Coronavirus reported in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Four suspected cases of the novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) which has spread fear across parts of the world were reported in Hyderabad on Monday. The four who had returned from China have been kept in isolation ward at the state-run Fever Hospital.
The four suspected cases who have returned from China in the last week of December and had some symptoms of fever and cold previously walked into the hospital fearing that they might have had contracted the virus.
Official sources confirmed that these are not students but professionals and tourists who had visited China. The four were put under observation and the respiratory tract swab samples have been collected and sent for testing to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) Pune on Monday.
