MERCEDES-BENZ is set to launch the GLE SUV on the 28 January 2020 to kick off the new decade, which should be showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 in India.
The six cylindrical GLE SUV loaded with features like Android Auto, Apple Car Play, cruise control, 4-Zone climate control, AIRMATIC air suspension, ESP, active power assist, park assist with a 360-degree camera paired with front and rear parking sensors, ABS + EBD, ESP and powered from the front seats with memory function and its safety features may likely include 7 airbags.
The GLE SUV will be powered by BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engines, which the petrol option code name is GLE 400, it’s a 3.0 litre, 6-cylinder 48v mild-hybrid engine producing 367PS and 500Nm with a 5.7 second 0-100Kmph sprint time.
The diesel option code name is 300d which is a 4-cylinder 14v mild-hybrid, delivering 245PS/500Nm and a 0-100Kmph sprint time of 7.2 seconds. The second diesel engine option is code-named 450d, it’s a 6-cylinder 14v mild-hybrid mill carrying out 330PS, it’s a 3.0 litre and 700Nm with 5.7 second 0-100Kmph sprint time.
