Piers Morgan is at it again.

The Good Morning Britain host has hit out at the Love Island contestants calling them "dimwits".

He was reacting to a clip from the ITV show where the girls revealed what their favourite word is.

WalesOnline reports that Jess said how her favourite number is 11.

She told the girls that "it is the freshest number" and "it's so pure".

She continued: "Also, I love the number one, but one is just so lonely, like 11 is two ones like it's two people."

Piers went on to mock Jess, repeating "one and one is two, is two people" in a high-pitched voice as he imitated the islander.

He said: "Eleven is like two people, it's two people, one and one, is two, one and one.

"I'm amazed she even knows one and one is two.

"I think that is a real step forward for this series, I'm not sure in the last series they knew."

Susanna interjected: "No one and one is eleven, she just pointed that out, one on its own would be lonely.

"Look at how much of a conversation we can have about this."

"I could talk about these dimwits all year." Piers fired back.

His comedic antics led to a flurry of comments on social media.

One viewer tweeted: "I’m with  @piersmorgan Love Island is about as entertaining as watching paint dry, but did get me thinking about what my favourite number is. For today, and today only, my favourite number is three because that is the amount of goals Leicester City will score tonight against Villa."

Another joked: "Our cat is the only one that watches Love Island in our house."

"I love Love island it is ware all the stupid people go. And world is a safer place." A third added.
