Man hit by tram at Plympton, heavy traffic delays caused | Truck and three cars collided at Manningham

A man has been seriously injured after he was hit by a tram at Plympton this morning. That accident, along with a multi-vehicle collision in a Manningham, caused heavy traffic delays for peak-hour traffic.

Meanwhile, a truck and three cars collided on Hampstead Rd at Manningham this morning.

Hampstead Rd was closed to citybound traffic at Regency Rd about 9am and outbound traffic was reduced to one lane between Regency Rd and Taunton Rd.

Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

The 202F bus service to the city detoured as a result with stops 16, 17 and 18 being missed.

Earlier this morning, a two car collision along Goodwood Rd near Ormond Ave at Daw Park caused heavy delays for citybound traffic during the peak but has since cleared.
