Medical college, skill development centre in Chandauli soon: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath launched the state-wide weekly Arogya Mela, at primary health centre in Amdah village of Naxal-affected hilly region Naugarh in Chandauli district on Sunday. The CM also announced that Chandauli district will get a medical college soon besides opening industrial training institute (ITI), skill development training institute and hostels for boys and girls in Naugarh soon.

VARANASI: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath launched the state-wide weekly Arogya Mela, at primary health centre in Amdah village of Naxal-affected hilly region Naugarh in Chandauli district on Sunday. The CM also announced that Chandauli district will get a medical college soon besides opening industrial training institute (ITI), skill development training institute and hostels for boys and girls in Naugarh soon.

The Arogya Mela will be held at 4,200 primary health centres across the state every Sunday. "Arogya Mela is a major step under Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana to provide best possible treatment to each and every citizen of the state. People attending the camp will be examined by doctors and given medicines free of cost. It is a measure to ensure availability of healthcare to the poor and those living in remotest zones," Yogi said. The CM also announced that Chandauli district will get a medical college soon.
Later, addressing the silver jubilee celebrations of Maharshi Valmiki Seva Sansthan in Devkhat village, Yogi said an industrial training institute (ITI) and skill development training institute will also be opened in Naugarh region soon. Yogi unveiled the statue of Maharshi Valmiki and recalled the epic Ramayana authored by him.
