Nigerians have taken to social media to berate the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed over his request to borrow $500m to digitize the National Television Authority (NTA).
The minister expressed that with the money, NTA will be able to compete with the likes of CNN.

Reacting to this statement, Nigerians expressed their surprise at the decision, why others queried the decision to spend such an amount on the digitisation of a TV station.
