SASARAM: Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey on Monday inaugurated the 20th All India Police Duty Meet shooting competition on the campus of the second battalion of Bihar Military Police (BMP) stationed at Dehri-on-Sone in
Rohtas district. Altogether 30 teams from 23 states, including two union territories and eight central armed forces, are participating in the event.
The national police shooting competition has been organized for the first time in Bihar.
Inaugurating the competition, in which around 800 participants are expected to take part in 13 events, the DGP called upon the participants to spread the message of non-violence, peace and love across the country.
He also congratulated the participants on behalf of chief minister Nitish Kumar, who was to inaugurate the competition.
