Bidar sedition case: Mother, teacher walk out of jail

Both were granted conditional bail on Friday evening by District Principal and Sessions Judge. The duo was arrested on Jan 30. After the release the management of Shaheen school whisked away the mother and teacher not allowing to talk to scores of media present in front of the jail.

Both were granted conditional bail on Friday evening by District Principal and Sessions Judge. The duo was arrested on Janury 30. After the release the management of Shaheen school whisked away the mother and teacher not allowing to talk to scores of media present in front of the jail.
It may be recalled a case was registered against management of Shaheen Group of Institutions on Jan 26 for staging anti-CAA play in which a girl student allegedly uttered anti-Modi slur.
A complaint was filed by a person named Neelesh Rakshyala and play was staged on Jan 21 at the school.
Thouseef Madikeri, CEO of the school talking to ToI said mother has been sent to her home along with the kid. The child has been reunited with a parent. On other hand the teacher has also been sent to her home. He added that now they are awaiting for anticipatory bail hearing on Feb 17, Monday.
The bail was granted to the duo asking them to execute bond of RS 1 lakh each and with two sureties. The other conditions are, accused shall not leave station jurisdiction without prior permission from the Investigation Officer (IO) and are also required to appear before IO as in when summoned for questioning.
