I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here could be the longest running reality TV show if it secures an extended contract with ITV.

The series that first aired in 2002 - which crowned radio DJ Tony Blackburn as the first ever King of the jungle - is speculated be returning to the channel for three more series alongside TV hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly .

This will allow the hit series to celebrate its milestone 20th anniversary in 2022, according to the Daily Star - giving it the title of longest-standing reality TV show.

A representative from ITV did not confirm that the fan favourite will be renewed.

Geordie duo Ant and Dec recently revealed they want to do a sitcom in future as they prepare for their telly careers to take off again.
