White Earth firefighters put out a chimney fire Tuesday at this house a few miles east of White Earth Village on County Road 34.
Occupants were home in late afternoon at the time of the fire and were able to call for help and evacuate without any injuries. A firefighter on the scene said the chimney fire was put out and the chimney was cleaned out, so the residence has heat and occupants are able to stay in their home.
