Matias Vecino admits Inter “didn’t have enough intensity in the first half” of their 2-0 win away to Ludogorets in the Europa League.

It was a dire performance for the first hour in Bulgaria, until Christian Eriksen’s strike from the edge of the box and a late Romelu Lukaku penalty.

“There wasn’t enough intensity in the first half, not just in our pressing game, but also when building out from the back,” Vecino told Inter TV.

“There wasn’t enough intensity in the first half, not just in our pressing game, but also when building out from the back,” Vecino told Inter TV.

“We raised the tempo after the break and scored two goals. We came here looking for an important result going into the second leg.

“Now we need to focus on the next match coming up, because after two defeats, we want to get back to winning ways in Serie A too.”
