Explore the Isle of Bute

Renowned for its glorious gardens, grand architecture, friendly locals and just a stone’s throw away from the mainland, the Isle of Bute is a must for all travellers.

Staying at the main port town of Rothesay, famed for its Victorian grandeur and discovering the hidden villages and spectacular scenery, this holiday has it all! You will visit Mount Stuart House, built for the 3rd Marquess of Bute, in the late 1870s.

You will also visit Inverary Castle the home of the Duke of Argyll, Chief of the Clan Campbell and the iconic, must-see visitor attraction on the west coast of Scotland.

The Glenburn Hotel, where you will stay for the duration of the trip, enjoys a superb panorama across the waters of Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Peninsula.
