TWO MEN OUT FOR A BOAT RIDE, IN A WESTMORELAND COUNTY PARK, SUDDENLY FOUND THEMSELVES IN THE ICY WATER. THE MEN WERE PADDLING IN A RUBBER BOAT AT NORTHMORELAND PARK WHEN SOMETHING PUNCTURED IT. THE BOAT QUICKLY CAPSIZED, FORCING RESCUE CREWS TO ACT QUICKLY TO GET TO THEM THEY WERE IN THE WATER PROBABLY ABOUT HALF AN HOUR, W WERE ABLE TO GET THE BOOK FROM THE COUNTY AND GET IT IN THE WATER, AND WE HAD ICE RESCUE PEOPLE HERE. BRITTANY: BOTH MEN WERE CONSCIOUS AND ALERT WHEN THEY WERE PULLED FROM THE WATER. THEY WERE TAKEN TO FORBES REGIONAL HOSPITAL FOR

Emergency dispatchers said the two people were rescued from a lake near the park. They were taken to Forbes Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
