Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa has alarmed and amused Ozzy Osbourne fans after taking part in the Black Sabbath legend’s latest music video.

The 40-year-old American actor transforms into a version of 71-year-old rocker Ozzy for the music video for new single Scary Little Green Men - from his recent critically acclaimed 12th studio album, Ordinary Man.

In the video, Jason fully channels the rock icon as he shuffles up to a microphone while wearing a dark, hooded leather robe and flashes fists full of ring covered fingers to the camera.

He then lip synchs the lyrics of Ozzy’s new song - swaying and singing in a green painted corridor - while also wearing black eye make-up and statement rocker jewellery around his neck.

Opinion has been split among fans of Ozzy - with some left cringing at the Hollywood star’s tribute to him, while others applauded the likeness.

“Sorry, but that didn't remind me of Ozzy at all,” grumbled one unimpressed fan on Twitter after watching the clip - with another slamming the video, stating: “This is cheesy af.”

“This is actually dope. hyped for this album,” an enthusiastic fan tweeted.

Ozzy unleashed his latest album on Friday - but has cancelled some promotional appearances related to the album release, due to his ongoing health issues.

In a recent interview, the rocker explained that he is in “unbelievable pain, 24/7” due to his ongoing fight against Parkinson’s disease.

Earlier this month, Ozzy cancelled his entire North American tour in support of his new album - relocating to Switzerland to seek treatment until April.

Last year, the rock legend was hospitalised with severe flu and fears he would develop pneumonia.

The accident prone star later cancelled a planned tour after spending time in hospital - before suffering injuries following a fall while he was recovering.
