Coventry City will take centre stage in League One tomorrow night when they clash with promotion rivals Rotherham United.

With around a third of the season left to go, there is barely anything to separate the sides ahead of kick-off at St Andrews.

Rotherham top the table on goal difference, but the Sky Blues have a game in hand as they bid to underline their title credentials.

A midweek victory for Coventry would see them go three points clear – still boasting the advantage of an extra fixture.

Here is our guide to the crunch League One clash, including the current state of play with injuries and suspensions at both clubs.

When is the game?

It takes place at 7.45pm at St Andrews. While there isn’t a full programme of fixtures, there is plenty of other action tomorrow night.

Sunderland and Fleetwood – both currently in the Play-Off spots – go head to head at the Stadium of Light, while Oxford United can move into the top six if they beat Accrington Stanley and other results go their way.

Is it on TV?

Sadly not. Of course, the Champions League knock-out stages are in full swing, while Sky Sports have opted to show the Championship game between Cardiff City and promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest.

As always, though, there will be a midweek edition of EFL on Quest.

You will have to wait until Wednesday night to catch up with the action, with Colin Murray and his guests in the studio from 10.30pm until midnight.

Team news

Jodi Jones continues his return to full fitness after recovering from a serious knee injury, but his appearances so far this season have both come in cup competitions.

Dan Bartlett, Reise Allassani and Wesley Jobello (all ACL injuries) remain out of action for the Sky Blues.for the visitors, meanwhile, Paul Warne has declared his squad ‘ridiculously fit’ ahead of the crunch clash.

Following a last-gasp weekend victory at Accrington, the Millers have no injuries to contend with for the meeting with Coventry.

Warne said: “We’ve got no issues after Saturday. We were happy to get a win and move on to the next one.”
