Police are investigating after a man was killed in a head-on crash in Switzerland County Indiana.According to a press release, Jeffery C. Osborne, 29, of La Grange, Kentucky was driving a Chevrolet Impala eastbound on State Road 156 near Plum Creek Road. An investigation reveals Osborne’s vehicle left the south side of the road before returning to the road and traveling into the westbound lane. The lane shift caused him to strike a Jeep Wrangler head-on, the press release said. Osborne sustained fatal injuries in the collision, the press release said. He was pronounced dead by the Switzerland County Coroner's Office. State Road 156 was closed for three hours for crash investigation and cleanup. While toxicology results on both drivers are pending, officials said alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.The investigation is ongoing.
