Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the recall of aluminum models of Apple Watch Series 2 and 3 sold between 2016 and 2019.
The ministry found that crack may form along the rounded edge of the screen in aluminum models and so the recall is to replace the screens of the Apple Watch units of this model.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers.
The Ministry said that consumers should contact iFix Qatar (phone-44405232); Ali Bin Ali (phone - 44056742) and 51 East (44257844) to follow up on this recall.
The Ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions.
