CANBY -- Three Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove wrestlers, two from Windom/Mountain Lake, and one each from Adrian/Ellsworth and Jackson County Central earned championships Saturday at the Section 3A individual tournament in Canby.
T-M-B/W-WG’s Ayden Horner at 120 pounds, Jace Paplow at 170, and Trevor Eisfeld at 182 will enter the Minnesota state tournament as section titleists. So will Windom/Mountain Lake’s Kade Sammons at 132 and Brett Willaby at 138. Brayan Anaya of Adrian/Ellsworth earned a first at 106 pounds, and Payton Handevidt of JCC won the 145-pound weight class.
The top two wrestlers in every class qualify for state.
