Arvind Kejriwal has called for a special meet over CAA violence that has spiralled in Northeast Delhi.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the prevailing situation in the city in the wake of violence in parts of northeast Delhi in which at least four people, including a head constable, were killed, officials said on Tuesday.

The meeting was held late Monday night after Shah's return from Ahmedabad, where he had attended the 'Namaste Trump' event addressed by US President Donald Trump.

Incidents of stone-pelting have been reported from Delhi's Maujpur and Brahampuri area amid anti-CAA violence in the national capital.

In order to control the situation, police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel conducted flag march in Brahampuri area after stone-pelting incident between two groups in the area.

Delhi Police: From forenoon till around 4 pm on 25th February, traffic is likely to remain heavy in the areas of Moti Bagh, Chanakyapuri, India Gate, areas around ITO, Delhi Gate and the adjoining areas of Central and New Delhi. In the evening, traffic is likely to remain heavy in Chanakyapuri, RML roundabout, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Cantonment, Delhi-Gurgaon Road (NH-48) & adjoining areas. Necessary traffic diversions as per ground situation may also be enforced.​
