The bloodthirsty son of Donald Trump has been granted one of just 27 permits to kill Alaskan grizzly bears.

The decision has sparked fury with animal supporters demanding he is stripped of the license while calling for an end to the hunt of the majestic animals.

Donald Trump Jr was one of just three people who applied for the £123 early out-of-state hunter license, which helped ensure he got a spot.

The other 24 permits are to be filled in later drawings.

"We get thousands of applications," said Eddie Grasser, wildlife conservation director for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

The permit allows Trump Jr to hunt to the east and north of the tiny remote city of Nome.

While hunting to kill a grizzly, the President's eldest son will have to be accompanied by a licensed Alaska guide.

He will travel to Nome between August 1 and May 31 next year when the bear season is active.

Non-resident hunters like Trump killed 11 bears last year. Local hunters killed 40.

Trump Jr is already set to visit Alaska to kill.

A 'Safari Club International' raffled off a week-long "dream hunt" with the President's son that will take place on a yacht travelling along the Tongass National Forest coastline in southeastern Alaska.

Once there he will hunt Sitka black-tail deer and sea ducks.

Following news of the Trump Jr's grizzly hunt a petition was set up demanding the Alaska Department of Fish and Game put an end to all grizzly bear hunting.

It quickly reached more than 51,000 supporters.

Others took to social media to call for his permit to be withdrawn.

Donna Preston tweeted: "How dare he murder wild animals. Stop Trump Jr now. Demand his permits are withdrawn."
