VARANASI: Uttar Pradesh Police's special task force (STF) arrested three persons, including a teacher of an intermediate college in Ballia district, for alleged leak of maths question paper of the UP Board examination scheduled on Tuesday.
Ballia district magistrate Hari Pratap Shahi admitted that the Lucknow unit team of STF'arrested three persons, including a teacher, for their alleged involvement in leak of maths paper of UP Board high school exam.

The DM said that STF raids will continue in the drive against copying mafia and all those involved in paper leak and mass copying will be arrested, though he denied to disclose further details.
The STF personnel caught one Ajay, a teacher at Shivji Inter College, a student of class XII Rajnish Yadav and a former student of the same college Rakesh. Efforts to nab others involved other invloved in nexus, said officials.
Regarding the possibility of cancellation of the examination in the district, the district magistrate said that STF has launched an investigation in this regard. The agency will submit its report to the state government, hence the decision in this regard will also be taken at the sgovernment level.
