No trace of Class X boy who fell in Narmada canal

Vadodara: Even after 72 hours, rescuers have found no clue about 16-year-old Arbaz Pathan, who had fallen in Narmada canal near Chhani.
On Thursday, firemen resumed the search for the Class X boy. Personnel from National Disaster Response Force also joined the search. However, until Thursday evening, they could not find Pathan. Officials said that the search was extended till Bhimpura and equipment like underwater cameras were also used.
“The water level in the canal is too high and the water is very dirty, so the search operation is turning out to be difficult,” said a fire official. The search will resume on Friday.
Pathan, a resident of Navayard, had fallen when he was shooting his own video while standing on the bank of canal on March 10 noon. His friends who were at a distance had alerted the locals and the fire brigade was called in to search for the boy.
