Andhra Pradesh: Retd BSF constable shoots himself in Tirupati
TIRUPATI: A retired Border Security Force (BSF) constable shot himself at a burial ground near Leela Mahal junction in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati on Saturday.
Tirupati east division police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to the SVRR Government Hospital for post-mortem.
Police said the deceased was identified as D Sidda Ramu, a native of Kondareddy Gari Palli in KV Palli mandal of Chittoor district, who was residing at Sundaraiah Nagar in Tirupati.
The deceased had retired only four months ago.
Tirupati east police have registered a case and during the preliminary investigation, they found out that the deceased used to frequently quarrel with his wife and the couple were leading a disturbed life, which might have led the retired BSF constable to take the extreme step.
