Eleven resorts and hotels on the Mumbai- Ahmedabad national highway in the Vasai- Virar jurisdiction has been taken over by the government to accommodate self quarantine people.

MUMBAI: Eleven resorts and hotels on the Mumbai- Ahmedabad national highway in the Vasai- Virar jurisdiction has been taken over by the government to accommodate self quarantine people.

The resorts and hotels will charge a fixed rate from the self quarantine guests.
The Palghar district collector Dr Kailash Shinde has set aside Royal Garden, Golden Chariot, Suvi Palace, G S Motel, Royal Inn, Shelter, Shelter International, Sai Residency, Krishna Resort, Sunshine Residency and Grand Residency that falls in the Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC) jurisdiction for self quarantine.

The entire premises, including rooms, will be used for only self quarantine guests as and when the need arises, said the district officials.
Palghar district has not reported even a single case of coronavirus so far.
