Moradabad reports first COVID-19 case after woman with travel history to France tests positive

Moradabad has reported its first COVID-19 case after a woman with travel history to France has been found coronavirus positive.

Moradabad has reported its first COVID-19 case after a woman with travel history to France has been found positive for coronavirus. As per reports, the woman who has been found infected with the disease is relative to a cabinet minister. The woman resides in the Mandape area in Moradabad. Uttar Pradesh has so far reported 24 coronavirus cases while Maharashtra, with 63, has the highest number of COVID-19 infected people. Almost all states in the country have reported COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, state administrations are continuously advising people not to venture out of their homes in order to contain the virus from spreading further among people.

India's total tally of coronavirus positive cases have surged to 271 after the country witnessed a sharp rise in the cases on Friday. Coronavirus positive cases have been on surge since Saturday morning as more and more cases surface from across the country. At least 5 people have died after getting infected with the disease. Globally, more than 2.5 lakh people have been found coronavirus positive while over 10,000 people have died.

Six new COVID-19 positive cases in Gujarat

With six new coronavirus positive cases being reported in Gujarat on Saturday, the number of infected persons in the state has gone up to 13, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said. These patients are being treated in hospitals at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot, Patel told reporters in

Vadodara.

3 new coronavirus cases in Karnataka, total number of infections rise to 18
 

Three new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Karnataka, taking the total number of infections to 18, the state government said on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Health Minister B Sriramulu giving details about one positive case said, a 32-year old person from Gauribidanur in Chikkaballapura district, who has returned from Mecca has been confirmed for coronavirus infection.
