Covid-19 scare in Karnataka: Kodagu shuts for 2 more days

The Kodagu Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday decided to shut all commercial establishments on Monday and Tuesday. Only grocery and vegetable shops and milk booths can remain open from 4pm for three hours.

MADIKERI/ MYSURU: The Kodagu Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday decided to shut all commercial establishments on Monday and Tuesday. Only grocery and vegetable shops and milk booths can remain open from 4pm for three hours.
This comes amid the district administration's efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19. It supplied truck loads of food items for 14 days quarantine for Kondangeri-Kethumotte villagers who are under surveillance after a positive case was detected there.

Meanwhile, four Russian tourists were found in a hotel in Virajpet on Saturday. Following a public complaint, officials conducted a health check. They showed them the negative report received from health department when they were in Chennai.They were allowed to leave for Kerala.
