THANE: The Thane district administration began disinfecting public places on Sunday in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Municipal commissioner Vijay Singhal said railway and bus stations, markets among others will be sprayed with disinfectants.
Each ward has been given 10 tractors, 80 spraying machines, 10 fire brigade vehicles and 140 staff for this drive, he added.
