PANAJI: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Wednesday said its Class X public exam, which was scheduled to begin on April 2, was postponed.
New dates will be announced at least 10 days prior to commencement of the exam.
The government had already cancelled the Class XII board exams in view of the Covid-19 situation. Only three subject papers were left to be answered.
Dates for these papers will also be declared 10 days before they are held, Goa Board said. It has also announced that its answer sheet assessment camps to be held in Margao and Panaji stand cancelled until further orders.
Teachers have conveyed to their organisations that Class X exam work, including assessment, should ideally be completed latest by April 20, so that admission and other processes can run smoothly.
