Here in Karnataka's Kalaburagi, the cops have adopted a unique way to punish the violators of COVID-19 lockdown. No lathicharge, no beating up, the cops punished lockdown violators asking them to sweep roads. Relevantly in West Bengal the cops punished the lockdown violators in Bengal asking them to squat and to make frog jumps on the roads. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered all 1.3 billion people in the country to stay inside their homes for three weeks starting March 25, the biggest and most severe action undertaken anywhere to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
