Vadodara: Man jumps into Narmada canal, dies

VADODARA: An unidentified person allegedly ended his life by jumping into Narmada canal near Chhani on Thursday.
According to fire department, some locals who had noticed him walk towards the canal, shouted to call him back. But he jumped before they could rush to his help. “Around 5.30pm, the central command and control centre had received call about the man. We sent a team from Chhani fire station but he had died already,” said fire officer Om Jadeja.No identity cards were found on him.
