Tamil Nadu reports six more Covid-19 cases

Six Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Tamil Nadu on Friday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 35.

CHENNAI: Six Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Tamil Nadu on Friday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 35.
The latest cases include two family members of a patient who was admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai and two contacts of Thai nationals admitted to IRT Perundurai Medical College Hospital in Erode district. Others are a contact of a patient in Chennai and a 25-year-old woman from Chennai who is admitted to Government Hospital in Ariyalur.

One patient admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital was discharged last week while a 54 -year-old man admitted to Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai died in the early hours of Wednesday.
