In another incident, a 25-year-old newly-married woman died under mysterious circumstances at the Patna Medical College and Hospital on Thursday. She was admitted on Wednesday evening after she complained of vomiting and stomach pain.

Gupta lodged a case of dowry death at the Kadamkuan police station against Snehlata’s husband on Thursday. The deceased woman, a resident of Saidpur Road number 2, had fallen in love with Veeru earlier and they got married barely 15 days ago.
The Kadamkuan police station SHO said the post-mortem report is awaited. “Action will be initiated against the accused on the basis of the autopsy report,” he added.
