Lockdown 21: Govt opens grocery stores in Goa, social distancing goes for a toss

Government of Goa opened grocery and vegetable stores on March 27, amidst the ongoing 21-day lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19. Consequently, the shops witnessed long queues across Panaji and other parts of the state. The move proved to be counterproductive as people standing close to each other in long queues poses a major risk.
