Covid-19 hospitals to be set up in two Lucknow hotels

LUCKNOW: In view of the directions from the UP government, district authorities are soon to take over hotels and private buildings in various places, inclduing Lucknow, to set up Covid-19 hospitals.
Principal secretary, medical education, Rajnish Dubey told TOI that a GO has been been issued in this regard. For Capital Covid Hospital, district authorities will take over two starred hotels in Lucknow while in Agra one major hotel has already been taken over.The action is beimg taken under the provisons of Epidemecs Act and Disaster Management Act, Dubey said.
