Folk singer held with stolen bike in Vadodara

A folk singer who has ‘timli’ music albums to his credit was held by the Panchmahal police with a motorcycle stolen from Vadodara. The singer also has music albums of ‘timli’ – a tribal folk music form – to his credit and is popular in Panchmahal, Mahisagar and Dahod districts.

VADODARA: A folk singer who has ‘timli’ music albums to his credit was held by the Panchmahal police with a motorcycle stolen from Vadodara. The singer also has music albums of ‘timli’ – a tribal folk music form – to his credit and is popular in Panchmahal, Mahisagar and Dahod districts.
The accused Rakesh Raval, a resident of Godhra, was riding a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle without registration plates.
When the police stopped him and sought documents from him, he was unable to furnish any papers to the police. The accused was detained by the police and the motorcycle was seized under provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.
