PM Modi praises West Bengal's fight against Covid-19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke to West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and praised the state's effort against Covid-19. In a ten-minute conversation with the prime minister, the chief minister raised concerns over testing centres. The prime minister has assured the state to provide all possible help in fighting against the pandemic. The prime minister has also assigned union foreign minister S Jaishankar to oversee the progress work, a source in know said. Jaishankar also spoke to Mamata Banerjee, he added.
