Ask for rent, face action: Gautam Budh Nagar DM to house owners

NOIDA: The district administration in Gautam Budh Nagar passed an order on Saturday stating that house owners will face action if they ask tenants for rent this month or ask them to leave.
"There are thousands of migrant labourers in Noida who are facing financial problems now and are unable to pay rent. Because of this, they are trying to leave the city immediately in the midst of the lockdown. We have, therefore, ordered that nobody will be asking for rent, especially from migrant and daily wage labourers," said B N Singh, district magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar.

Several house owners have said that they will not ask for rent this month.
