Agra: 300 inmates of district jail granted interim bail amid coronavirus scare

AGRA: On Saturday, 300 inmates of district jail of Agra were granted interim bail.
According to Shashikant Mishra, superintendent of district jail, said, "The inmates who were serving jail term for less than seven years, or had completed 14 years or were above 60 years, were given eight weeks interim bail considering the coronavirus scare."
However, the inmates were yet to be released.
Similar efforts were made in all district jails of UP after apex court order.
