'No community spread in Uttar Pradesh so far'

Amid fears that Covid-19 cases may record exponential growth after extensive reverse migration to UP, health officials on Sunday said there has been no community spread of coronavirus so far in the state.

LUCKNOW: Amid fears that Covid-19 cases may record exponential growth after extensive reverse migration to UP, health officials on Sunday said there has been no community spread of coronavirus so far in the state.
"The global pandemic has not spread to the community in UP," said principal secretary health and family welfare, Amit Mohan Prasad, adding, "Every single case in UP can be traced back to a foreign history."
Global health agencies have listed three stages of Covid-19 transmission; Stage-I in which a country receives imported cases, Stage-II when positive cases pass on the infection to locals, but the source of all cases in known, and Stage-III.
