Vicky Kaushal pledges to contribute Rs.1 crore to PM CARES and Maharashtra CM's relief fund

Many Bollywood stars are coming forward to donate funds for the funds for disaster management and research amidst Coronavirus scare. After Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra, now Vicky Kaushal has stepped forward to contribute money towards the fight against COVID-19.

Many Bollywood stars are coming forward to donate funds for the funds for disaster management and research amidst Coronavirus scare. After Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra, now Vicky Kaushal has stepped forward to contribute money towards the fight against COVID-19.
Vicky took to his Instagram to share a message which read, 'While I'm blessed enough to be seated with my loved ones in the comforts of my home, there are many who are not as fortunate.
In this time of crisis, I humbly pledge to contribute an amount of Rs. 1 crore to PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister's relief fund."
Furthermore, he stated, "We are in this together ad we'll win this together. Let us all do our bit for a healthier and stronger future. Jai Hind. #IndiaFightsCorona"

Meanwhile, Akshay pledged to contribute Rs.25 crores to PM Cares Fund while Virat and Anushka donated Rs. 3 crores to the relief fund. Varun Dhawan also contributed a total of Rs.55 Lakhs to Maharashtra CM's fund and PM CARES fund. While Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas have contributed their bit to several charities including UNICEF and PM-CARES Fund.
